Perform financial reporting, forecasting and operational metrics (KPI) tracking.
Summarize and report Actual Financial Performance in accrual and cash basis.
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Review and monitor balance sheet accounts such as Trade Receivables, Trade Payables and Inter-company loans and advances.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results against plans and forecasts
Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Keeps the management/BU well informed of what is driving their financial performance and knowledgeable of any gaps and the impact that these gaps have in the delivery of their plan/forecast.
Provide quality consulting service to stakeholders through use of use knowledge and expertise in finance.
Review investment proposals and create recommendations to be presented to management and executives.
Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and company valuations.
When necessary, provide help and assistance to BUs in their pricing strategies and salary/commission schemes.
Prepare and submit other reports based on management request as needed.
Discuss and align with the management any risks identified so that appropriate programs can be crafted to address it if not mitigate the impact.
Propose and implement a sustainable reporting cycle especially for startups and new subsidiaries.
Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools and templates.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education – College Degree in Accountancy
Experience – At least 2 years in Financial Analysis; Planning and Budgeting; Financial Modelling; Business Partnering and Management Reporting; Experience in handling multiple BUs/subsidiaries.
Functional Competencies – Strong analytical skills; Strong business acumen; Strong inter-personal and communication skills; Strong presentation skills and comfortable interacting with Executive-level management; Advanced knowledge in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; Hands-on experience in Oracle Netsuite is an advantage; Self-starter and able to deliver tasks even with minimal supervision; Passion to learn and grow.
